Privacy Policy
This is the Privacy Policy for MyLocket UK mobile Applications and associated website and portal at https://www.mylocket.uk
If you require any more information or have any questions about our privacy policy, please feel free to contact us by email at info@moonfire.ltd.uk.
At Moonfire Ltd, the privacy of our visitors is of extreme importance to us. This privacy policy document outlines the types of personal information that is received and collected by MyLocket UK App and how it is used by the Portal and business services.
Email Addresses
MyLocket UK collects email addresses from its account holders when storing contacts details for people and organisations they want contacted after, and sometimes before, their death. These email addresses are securely stored. They are used by the Moonfire Ltd business services to contact the persons and organisations the subscriber has indicated. A select few of these account holders may use the email addresses, entered by a deceased account holder, to notify their owners of the aforementioned account holders’ death e.g. account holder A nominates account holder B to be their executor. Account holder A stores 10 other contact e-mails. After account holder A dies, account holder B will use the 10 e-mail addresses setup by account holder A to establish communications with those 10 contacts.
Moonfire Ltd will only share the email of an account holder with selected 3rd parties, for sales and marketing purposed, after the explicit consent of the account holder to do so.
Moonfire Ltd will use the account holders’ email to contact them directly to notify them of enhancement or alterations to the MyLocket UK App and Portal or of changes to the terms and conditions
Our lawful basis for customer data processing is for the purpose of account holder engagement, contacting account holder identified friends and family, supply of technical and legal information and replies to general queries.
An account holder may request that we delete any email information we hold on them if they wish and we will do so immediately but this will also delete their account.
Address Details
MyLocket UK only stores partial address details ( town/city and county) for the purpose of broadly identifying the proximity of an account holder. Moonfire Ltd will use this information to tailor proximity related adverts in the MyLocket Portal for the account holder in a suitable contextualised manner e.g if an account holder visits the Portal as a Benefactor, local undertaker adverts may be presented. If an account holder visits the Portal as a Beneficiary, local card shops may be presented.
Payment Processing
The MyLocket UK App and Portal does not process payment directly and no customer card or account information is stored by us. Payment processing is passed directly to ApplePay who process all payment details securely via their secure gateway and pass the resultant order information to us on completion of a successful transaction.
Log Files
MyLocket App and Portal makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information.
